In the midst of a warmth wave in Nova Scotia, Canada, this July, people sought out air-con and shelter within the shade. Fish within the Wrights River, in the meantime, converged on what patches of deeper, cooler water they may discover, like holes within the streambed out of the solar’s glare. A type of areas of reduction, although, hadn’t occurred naturally. It had been created by people pumping chilly water from a close-by effectively into the overheated stream. Chilly-loving fish, like Atlantic salmon, flocked to this stretch of water in droves.
