The parents over at Fly Fish Meals have one other nice sample for us to tie this week – the Zola Bug! This fly is useless easy, and has a variety of the attributes that makes the perdigon such an efficient fly. I’m an enormous fan of easy ties (why complicate one thing you don’t need to?) and the Zola Bug seems like one which’ll work successfully in a wide range of waters.
Oh, and AJ’s daughter helped him pick the colours for this fly, so how might you go improper with it?
